Anna Richardson – focus: Enterprise Litigation
Anna Richardson focuses her practice on complex enterprise litigation, with particular emphasis on high-exposure insolvency disputes, adversary proceedings, and multi-party commercial conflict.

She works at the core of IMcP’s most significant engagements, serving as a strategic driver in matters where financial structure, governance, and enterprise control are contested.
Anna has practiced alongside Managing Partner Chase Potter for the entirety of her career, including at two prior firms before the founding of IMcP. That continuity has produced a rare level of litigation cohesion — one built on shared courtroom experience, strategic alignment, and disciplined preparation.
Strategic Architect in Complex Litigation
Anna plays a central role in the development and execution of litigation strategy in nationally significant enterprise disputes. Her work frequently involves:
- Adversary proceedings in high-profile insolvency matters
- Fraudulent transfer and preference litigation
- Complex motion practice in contested bankruptcy proceedings
- Blockchain litigation
- Governance and fiduciary disputes
- High-value commercial litigation involving institutional stakeholders
She is known internally and externally for exhaustive preparation, analytical depth, and the willingness to examine every possible strategic avenue before advancing a position.
Anna has a strong practice representing financial advisors in FINRA arbitrations and FINRA 8210 investigations. Specifically, Anna has helped advisors respond to allegations of improper client solicitation and demands for repayment of promissory notes.
Anna has further represented clients in FINRA arbitrations involving claims of defamation, U5 “weaponization” and seeking expungement, wrongful termination, and unlawful forfeiture of compensation.
Relentless Preparation
Anna approaches litigation with intensity and intellectual rigor.
She does not accept surface-level analysis.
She dissects the record.
She tests assumptions.
She evaluates leverage from every angle.
In high-stakes enterprise disputes — where compressed timelines and complex financial records define the battlefield — that level of preparation is decisive. Clients benefit from advocacy that is both disciplined and relentless.
Integrated Insolvency & Enterprise Platform
Anna works within IMcP’s integrated litigation model across matters involving:
- Digital asset insolvency
- Institutional healthcare restructuring
- Trustee-driven recovery actions
- Capital structure conflict
- Governance breakdown within distressed enterprises
Her ability to synthesize financial data, procedural strategy, and evidentiary detail strengthens the firm’s position in complex contested proceedings.
Litigation Philosophy
Anna believes high-level litigation demands:
- Intellectual precision
- Strategic patience
- Complete command of the record
- Relentless follow-through
She prepares cases not simply to respond — but to control.
